Middle School Praise Band
Age of Participation: 6th through 8th grades
Meeting Place: Education Building
Date/Time: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday nights
Comments: This group of talented students is the beginning level of the praise band. Many of the students are just learning how to play a new instrument. This group is designed to be a feeder program for the main Youth Praise Band. As students graduate from high school and leave the praise band, the middle school students will fill in where they are needed.

Youth/Adult Praise Band

Age of Participation: 9th-12 grades, adult musicians
Meeting Place: Lounge of Education Building
Date/ Time: Practice Wednesday night- Play each 8:45 Sunday Service
Comments: The Youth Praise Band is an exciting and important part of the Early Morning Worship service at FUMC Amory. The band plays contemporary Christian music during the service and provides a modern approach to worship. While the Youth Praise Band is composed primarily of youth, we also have adult members as well. We encourage anyone who is interested in auditioning for the Youth Praise Band to contact director Brian Gillentine.
