Comments: Donating blood is a terrific way to support your church and community by volunteering your time and your lifesaving blood to help others in need. Donated blood is not only used for accident victims, but also for cancer patients and newborn premature babies. It is a vital resource that everyone in our community depends on. Every two seconds, someone needs blood. Each day patients across the country receive approximately 39,000 units of this lifesaving resource.
Because of the annual support given to United Blood Services by the congregation of FUMC Amory, the church body benefits from the Blood Coverage Program, a program which will cover the costs of the supplied blood for transfusions of any of our members. Forms are available in the church office for those who are in need of this free assistance, or you can download the forms from the links below (in MS Word format).
