Congratulations to Don and Joan
McCain on the birth of a grandson,
Wil Sankiago McCain, on
December 27, 2011. He weighed 6
pounds 2 ounces and was 19 inches long. He is the son
of Robert and Marsella McCain, and is welcomed by his
brothers, Sebastion and Lucas.

As to date we have received 85 pledge cards with a
total of $324,610 pledged toward our 2012 budget.
You may bring your pledge cards to the church office,
drop them in the collection plate, or mail them
directly to the church: P.O. Box 147.

On Saturday, February 18, we will
be taking a trip to the Orpheum
to see the “Million Dollar Quartet.”
This group will be performing
songs by Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis,
Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash.
Tickets are $62 each. Call the church office or Betty
Brook Harris if you are interested in going.

OPERATION 20/20
Operation 20/20, our ongoing eye glass
ministry, is a human service program
which provides eyeglasses to the poor
in under developed areas of the world
for no charge. The program is sponsored by the United Methodist
Church, however, it is made possible because of volunteers
and donations from many church denominations. Please
donate your old eyeglasses or sunglasses to our church office
at any time. Many needy people who have never seen an
eye doctor or will thank you. If you have questions you may
contact Bonnie McCary at 257-1204.
