Lisa Thompson - Director
Lisa has worked in the Early Childhood industry for 16 years. She has taught and been assistant director in Hoover, Alabama and in Memphis Tenessee, her hometown. Lisa moved to Amory in 2010 to be near her parents. Lisa has a love for children and believes that "play is the work of young children." She is excited to carry out the mission of First United Methodist Church Early Learning Center.

| Beth Fullerton-Four Year-Old Teacher, Assistant Director
Beth has worked with the Early Learning Center for 10 years and served as director for 7 years. She is currently the four year-old teacher. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Ec/Child Development. Beth is a member of the Mississippi Early Childhood Association and the Southern Early Childhood Association as well as Voices for Mississippi's Children. She also participates in the North Mississippi Child Care Provider Association. Beth is on an advisory council at ICC for their 2 year Early Childhood degree program.
Beth has been an active member of the First United Methodist for 22 years where she is a Certified Lay Speaker of the United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Paul, have two children, Jacob and Ashley.

Jessi Murphy - 3 year-old Teacher
Jessi Murphy is the 3 year-old teacher. Jessi is completing a degree in Elementary Education. Jessie and her husband, Brandon have one daughter, Chloe, and they live in Hatley. Jessi is very excited to be teaching the 3 year-old class.

Emily Hurt Faulkner- 2 year-old Teacher
Emily is our 2 year-old teacher. This is Emily's third year teaching at First United Methodist Church Early Learning Center. Emily is attending Itawamba Community College to obtain her Child Development Associate Degree, and upon completion, plans on pursuing her Elementary Education degree. Emily and her husband, Jess, have a dog named Gizmo.

Betty Bagwell - One year-old Teacher
Betty has lived in Amory all of her life and is married to Joe Bagwell. They have 4 children - Emily, Chris, Beth, and Byron. They have 2 grandchildren - Emma and Maddie Kate.
Betty loves animals and, of course, children. She is also a BIG baseball fan.
Betty graduated from LPN school in 1981. She obtained her associate degree in nursing in 1994. She worked in Pediatrics WBN and NICU for 22 years at North Mississippi Medical Center. She is also certified in Pediatric and Neonatal Resuscitation..

Lori Braxton-Early Learning Center Cook
Lori Braxton has been married to JC for 10 years. They have two children, Taylor and Travis. They live in Hatley. Lori and her family are members of Bethel Apostolic Church. At Bethel, Lori teaches the Kindergarten Class. Her hobbies include swimming, spending time with children, reading Christian fiction, and listening to music. She is a big fan of Ebay!
