| Bridges Class
Teacher: Tracy Randle Current Meeting Place: Library Age: special needs youth and adult Teaching style: reading from a Bible Story book then discussing and art Literature used: Story books of the Bible and the Bible
Comments: We are a special needs class. Each class member is given a notebook and a Bible Story book. After reading the story, we answer questions about the story and then we illustrate the story with pictures. We learn a lot from each other, and the fellowship is great!

Agape Class*

Comments: The Agape’s Sunday school class studies current issues that we face today as a society and as parents of teenage children. We are an informal class that enjoys discussion on how the Bible relates to current issues that are affecting us today. “Come join us as we continue to grow in God’s word and search His will for our lives.”

Comments: This is a very informal, close-knit class that deals with current social issues as well as life applications. The material is scripturally-based and not only encourages members to become more aware of their Christian behavior, but it also gives insight on how to deal with life’s situations. Whether you are single, married, divorced, young, old, you will find a topic that will speak to you. This class is filled with laughter and occasionally tears. To encourage fellowship, they have formed S.N.O. (Saturday Night Outings), which meets quarterly. “Please visit our class. Our doors are always open!”

The Seekers Class*

Comments: The Seekers Sunday School Class is a family-oriented class that deals with issues facing today’s parents and their children. The literature and scripture lessons are closely associated with the contemporary issues. The group is led into discussions where members share their knowledge and experiences. The class is informal, relaxed, and everyone enjoys participating. “Come join us as we seek God’s will for our lives, and find His answers to the questions we face as Christians parents.”

Comments: The Finders Sunday School Class is an informal and friendly class. They have an in depth Bible study lesson that is supported and supplemented by appropriate historical, geographical, and theological materials. The Finders Class has a high degree of class participation. The class members discuss the Sunday School lesson as well as other subjects of interest and all class members participate in these discussions.

Upper Room Class
Teacher: Linda Reich Current Meeting Place: Room to the left of Heritage Room-across from the Church office Age: Older Adults Teaching Style: Lecture with class discussion Literature used: Methodist-based material
Comments: This is a mixed adult class, consisting of a variety of ages and life situations, but bound together by a love of Christ. The average attendance is 20. The class celebrates fortune and misfortune as a family in Christ. Although there are several group “get together” throughout the year, the class considers its greatest strength to be its outreach to the church and community. “We welcome visitors anytime and have found that the majority of them stay!”

| Friendship-Gleaners Class
Teacher: Dorothy Poore and Bennie Harrelson Current Meeting Place: Room to the right of the Heritage room- across from the church office Age: Senior Adults 60-95 Literature: Methodist-based Teaching Style: Lecture with class participation
Comments: We begin our class by singing old familiar hymns from the Cokesbury hymnal. Whether accompanied by piano or singing acappella, we use this time to prepare our hearts for study. Our Sunday school is based on United Methodist literature along with Bible references. At present, we have 19 members on roll. “We encourage visitors and know that this class can meet the needs of many.”

Adult 1 Class

Comments: If you are interested in a strictly Bible based class, then this is the class for you. . We encourage anyone to visit or join our class, where we strive to become, A Community of Disciples of Christ. “We welcome new members!”
